must apply in person at the
Garrett County Courthouse

301-334-1937 – Open Mon – Fri 8:30 – 4:00pm
If
both parties are 25 years of age, only 1 person need apply
You will be asked to take an Oath that the information given
is accurate
You
will be required to provide the following information for both
parties:
Name, Address, Date of Birth and Social Security #
If
either party is divorced, you must present a Divorce Decree You
may use the marriage license 2 days after it is issued and it
is good for 6 months.
